My friend Jared is a passionate coach and a good man who coaches his kids of the Flames Sportive football club in Kenya, Mathare slum.
Recently he shared with me a project which sees his team to travel to West of Kenya, Busia province from November 26th until December 1st 2019. What this tour includes?
- football training sessions
- life skill courses provided by top coaches in Kenya
- organized matches against local teams
The aim of the trip is to showcase football and personal skills of kids that are eligible to start the high school in 2020. There are leading high schools in the area that can provide scholarships to kids to continue playing football and being given education.
